Beaches

The most famous beach in Benidorm Levante and is located about 400 meters from our apartments Gemelos 22.

The Levante beach is 2000 meters long and stretches from the old town to the Sierra Helada. The wide promenade behind the beach is beautiful at night. Many accommodations are on the side of Levante. The beach has a length of 2000 meters and is perfect to see a beautiful sunrise.

The beach is sandy and slopes gently into the water which makes for relatively safe bathing for the young or less confident water baby. Further out to sea are swinging bridges, diving boards, rafts, slides, a wet playground for the energetic and lifeguards are on hand throughout the summer season when it can get pretty crowded.

It’s backed by a broad promenade sporting bars, cafes and restaurants. In short… it’s lively!

Playa de Poniente is located on the other side of the center. The beach is a bit quieter  than Levante and is therefore ideal for tranquility. The promenade along the beach is surrounded by palm trees. You can make a wonderful walk and enjoy a snack and/or a drink at various restaurants. With a length of approximately 2500 meters, this is a longer beach than Levante beach.

A smaller beach is Cala de Mal Pas. This bay is located right below the Cape of Benidorm, next to the harbor. From the Plaza del Castillo, you can the stairs to reach the beach. The beach of Cala de Mal Pas has little amenities. Therefore, the above is a popular beach among families with a cooler spend a day at the beach. In relation to the two main beaches this beach looks more natural and it is less crowded.

Near the famous Playa de Levante is Festilandia. Festilandia is a playground for the little ones.

Enjoy the great weather in Benidorm and have a nice drink and good food on the boulevard after a long day at the beach.
