Benissa, a little further away!

Benissa is one of the oldest villages on the Costa Blanca and own everything at your fingertips for a relaxing day: the beach and the sea, the hills and mountains, vineyeards, palm trees and an incient culture.

Around Benissa you have countless opportunities for cycling and walking. The sea at Benissa is beautiful; many beautiful coves and cliffs. The lovely beach village is located 275 meters above the sea level.

In the old town you can see many historical buildings and monuments. The cathedral is a Franciscan monastery located which you can visit. Besides the beautiful buildings and monuments Benissa itself a museum so walking the streets equals history and culture breathe.

If you want to enjoy a lovely dinner in the evening, you should try the main dish of Benissa: the octopus stew. The region of Benissa is best known for the meat you can buy in many stores and butchers.

On Saturday morning there is a market in Benissa on Calle San Nicola.
